• This workbook style book takes some time to work through, but it is so worth it. After 25 years of marriage, there is material in this book, we both wish we had been made aware of earlier on. As one review mentions, it does refer to the Message. However, it also uses several other Biblical versions. We need to on our own, dig into the Biblical references...no matter what version is used in any book written by man. We have for the most part also had a solid marriage, definitely committed and faithful. It's just a choice, a decision we made a long time ago...no matter what. This book was a tool we used to go deeper, to draw closer to each other and God. I think every marriage should have the advantage of using this book as a tool to improve upon any marriage.
• Read part of it and gave to a client with domestic violence issues in her marriage. Both are doing serious work to salvage their marriage. She read it all the way on a trip to Calif. And her husband was so impressed, he is now reading and loving it.
• The content is deep and we learned a lot as a couple. This book seems better suited for the struggling marriage and not so much for the newly wed couple.
